📌 Key Differences to Consider

✈️ Flexibility with Plan Options

TripWise® allows you to customize coverage levels to meet the exact needs of your trip. It’s ideal for those who want more control over how much coverage they’re getting for medical, trip cancellation, and travel delay. The TripWise® plan can cover trip costs up to $25,000 per person.

IMG’s Choice Plan is more streamlined but varies by age and trip cost. It’s a solid all-in-one package, especially for younger travelers or straightforward itineraries. The Choice Plan can cover trip costs up to $10,000 per person.

🩺 Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

Both plans offer pre-existing condition waivers, but the timing is key:

  • TripWise®: Purchase within 21 days of your first trip payment.

  • IMG Choice Plan: Purchase within 21 days of your first trip payment.

🔄 Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)

Both plans offer CFAR add-ons. However:

  • TripWise® CFAR: Reimburses up to 75% of nonrefundable costs and not available in NY, WA, or MT.

  • IMG Choice CFAR: Reimburses up to 75% of nonrefundable costs and not available in MO, MT, MN, or NY.

TripWise® often has more consistent access to CFAR, especially for mission groups or custom tours.

CFAR is not available in Israel on any plan.
