How to Get a Quote for the TripWise® Travel Protection Plan?

Can’t get your TripWise® quote? This quick guide shows you how to fix common issues like missing traveler info, dates, or deposit details.

Getting your TripWise® quote should be quick and easy. If the Get Quote button isn’t lighting up, or if you’re not sure what to enter, use this guide to walk through each step.

You can start your quote anytime at Start Your TripWise Quote

Step 1: Traveler Information

  • Enter date of birth for each traveler.

  • Enter the trip cost per person (not the total for the group).

  • Add additional travelers if needed.

💡 Tip: Forgetting the date of birth is one of the most common reasons the Get Quote button won’t appear.

 

Step 2: Dates of Travel

  • Click the calendar icon.

  • Select your departure date (blue circle will appear).

  • Select your return date (both dates and all days in between will turn gray).

💡 Tip: If you only select one date, the system won’t recognize the trip.

 

Step 3: State of Residence

  • Use the dropdown to select your state.

💡 Tip: Skipping this step prevents the quote from generating.

 

Step 4: First Trip Payment Information

  • Payments Left: Select Yes if you still owe money on your trip, or No if you’ve already paid in full.

  • Deposit Amount: If you selected Yes, enter the amount of your first deposit. (This will usually be smaller than the full trip cost you entered earlier.)

  • Deposit Date: Enter the date you made that first payment.

    • If you select No (paid in full), you still must enter a deposit date.

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t re-enter the full trip cost — this step is only asking for your deposit amount.

  • The deposit date is required even if your trip is already paid in full.

  • The Get Quote button will stay gray until this section is complete.

 

❗Extra Tip: If You Can’t See Step 4

The chat window sometimes overlaps with the form. Click the X in the bottom right corner of the chat to minimize it.

 

☑️Final Check Before You Click "Get Quote"

If the button is still gray, check these first:

  1. Every traveler has a date of birth.

  2. Both a start and end date are selected.

  3. Your state of residence is chosen.

  4. A deposit date is entered (even if the trip is paid in full).
